There was something incredibly special about Kiersten and Jacob’s fall wedding at Nichols Heir in Sevierville, Tennessee. Set against the Tennessee mountains, every part of the day felt thoughtfully chosen and deeply personal to the two of them. From the beautiful fall details to the smallest touches, nothing felt like it was there simply for the sake of being pretty, it all felt like them. One of my favorite details was their cocktail napkins, each featuring little love notes they had written to one another throughout the years. It was such a simple and meaningful way to bring pieces of their story into the celebration, and exactly the kind of detail I love photographing.

And then there were their vows. I’ve photographed a lot of weddings and heard a lot of beautiful vows, but Kiersten and Jacob’s were some of the most sincere and heartfelt I’ve ever heard. There was so much intention behind their words, and you could feel how deeply they know, love, and choose one another. Those moments, surrounded by the beauty of the venue and the people they love most, are the ones that made their wedding day feel so much bigger than just a beautiful celebration. It was emotional, genuine, and completely theirs.

The entire vendor team made the day even more effortless. Everyone worked together so seamlessly, and I was genuinely grateful to be surrounded by such a talented group of people. And when it came time to celebrate, their reception turned into a true party. The dance floor was packed, disco balls were everywhere, and there was no shortage of dancing, laughing, and letting loose. From the quiet, meaningful moments to a dance floor full of disco balls, Kiersten and Jacob’s wedding was the perfect combination of beauty, intention, and genuine joy, and I couldn’t have loved being part of it more.
