I’m always excited when I get an inquiry to be a part of a wedding at The Bradford. It is such a beautiful venue that provides a classic, European-like backdrop right outside of Raleigh, North Carolina! So when I got Latifa’s inquiry, I knew that her day would be stunning. Her and Jim met when mutual friends invited them to attend a rodeo. They immediately hit it off and have been together ever since!

They got married this past weekend, on the day before Jim’s birthday! Their day was filled with family who traveled in from all over and so much love and joy. One of the most special moments of the day was Latifa’s first look with both of her parents. The forecast was calling for some rain, but fortunately we didn’t see any! Instead, we had a sunny day that led into a beautiful evening – which was perfect for the outdoor dance floor.

My favorite element of Latifa & Jim’s wedding day was the Dabke dancers that they had as part of their reception. It was so cool to see all of the guests partake in the interactive dancing; I don’t think I have ever seen guests participate so completely and joyfully during a reception before! The dancers set the stage for a fun remainder of the evening – including late night pizza, lots of dancing, a surprise birthday cake for Jim, and a sparkler send off!
