Twila & Alec are my kinda couple! They had no hesitation to get into the prettttty cold water to get some photos (it was totally worth it!). And they had plans to go to my most favorite ice cream place after their session (ice cream is a pretty big deal over here). I love the […]

I was so excited to meet Kellie & Mike for this lakeside engagement session! It was one of those days that felt like fall with just a dash of summer – my absolute favorite weather to photograph in! We had so much fun walking around, capturing photos and trying to not get hit by cars […]

Lizzy and Mike are getting married at the Cork Factory Hotel in March of 2021. I am so, so excited for their day! Lizzy had a vision of a mixture of an industrial look and a natural look for their engagement photos – so we spent half of their session downtown and the other half […]

Kaitlyn and Colin’s engagement session was the most fun ever because it involved traveling to Georgetown! Since they are both living in the city in this season, they wanted to document it by having their engagement photos done around the streets. Although I personally wouldn’t have minded traveling back to Sweden – (where they met!) […]

Between the glowy light, the tall grass, and the joy that just exudes out of Hannah and Tyler, I couldn’t have asked for anything to be more perfect during this engagement session! I honestly lost track of time because I was just having so much fun capturing all of these moments. I can’t wait to […]

This engagement session was a long time coming! Corona put us on hold for a couple of months, so I was extra excited to be able to spend some time with Justin and Leeann yesterday. Their July wedding is approaching quickly, so this was the best little practice session for the big day! Here’s hoping […]

Lynne sent me a message on Instagram and we were able to find some time the next day to get together at the park to take some photos of her and Kyle. (I guess quarantine isn’t allll that bad – the flexibility of schedules is a little nice) This was the first time that they […]

a little more about me

I believe beautiful photography begins with both craft and kindness.

After nine years and more than 100 weddings, there are a few things I know for sure: beautiful photographs matter, having someone you trust by your side matters just as much, and a good set of wedding vows can still make me cry.

I've always loved a good story (I usually have a book in hand when I'm not behind the camera), and I think that's part of what drew me to wedding photography in the first place.  Getting to know my couples and the things that make their stories unique is one of my favorite parts of what I do.

I bring experience and a thoughtful approach to every wedding, along with a genuine love for this work and the people I get to share it with.

Your wedding day will pass in a beautiful blur. The anticipation, the laughter, the happy tears, the quiet moments, and the celebration of saying “I do.”

These are the moments you’ll want to remember not only for how they looked, but for how they felt.

Because your wedding day can only happen once. But years from now, your photographs can bring you back to the feeling of it all.

Savor it all.
