Joe and Mary have a love story that could be on a tv show or in a movie! They met on a mission trip 10 years ago when they were in high school. Mary definitely had a crush on Joe at that time, and even has the diary entries to prove it! But it just […]

Anna and Nick met in high school, but they actually didn’t connect until halfway through college. They are both the sweetest and I can’t wait to celebrate their marriage with them in July! Before we met for their engagement photos, Anna was emailing me and let me know that they both had never had professional […]

The sun made an appearance on a January day for these portraits in downtown Winston-Salem. It was so fun to get to photograph in a more urban environment and Lorelai made it so easy with her natural presence in front of the camera!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, for an engagement session! Victoria and Jake met while both working at the Pennsylvania State Capitol building in Harrisburg, so it is a very special location for them! Pearl and Matt drove the whole way from Maryland for their engagement session, and it just so happened to be the coldest, windest evening of the year so far! Thankfully, we had a lot of sunshine and they had the best attitudes – so you can’t tell in the photos at all! I am so […]

I believe that love stories are written by sharing hundreds of ordinary moments together, which, when added up, tell the story of extraordinary love. I believe that marriage matters and photographs preserve relationships, especially those images capturing emotionally authentic connections.
Documenting moments is important, but I want my images to do more than tell a story. I want to preserve the moment. When you look back on your photos, you will be taken back, not just to the day, but to how you felt when you were there. I've been capturing love stories for over eight years and it just keeps getting better!

… for how you felt in each moment
…for the joy of saying I do, the excitement of your first kiss
…for the romantic moments and heartfelt good wishes
Your wedding will bring some of the most transformational moments of your life, moments so important that they can never be recreated…
But they can be relived in exquisite detail.
