Joe and Mary have a love story that could be on a tv show or in a movie! They met on a mission trip 10 years ago when they were in high school. Mary definitely had a crush on Joe at that time, and even has the diary entries to prove it! But it just wasn’t in the cards for them to be together at that time. After years of not being around each other, Mary and Joe reconnected around Thanksgiving time in 2019. They quickly realized that they were both very interested in one another and wanted to date with the intention of marriage. Joe almost immediately started saving up for a ring, and proposed just 10 months later!

It was so special to be a part of their wedding day – it was truly the best day ever! Mary and Joe were both surrounded by loving families and many friends who celebrated their marriage with them. Their day at The Booking House was full of so many sweet surprise moments – including a book for Mary from her bridesmaids, gifts that the couple got one another, and a song about their story (to the tune of the Jonas Brothers) that Joe’s siblings performed for them! I can’t think of a more intentional group of friends and family than those that surrounded this couple!

I absolutely adore wedding days like these ones. The love, care and joy that I am able to witness at weddings truly is the best part of the job!
