Twila & Alec are my kinda couple! They had no hesitation to get into the prettttty cold water to get some photos (it was totally worth it!). And they had plans to go to my most favorite ice cream place after their session (ice cream is a pretty big deal over here). I love the […]

I was so excited to meet Kellie & Mike for this lakeside engagement session! It was one of those days that felt like fall with just a dash of summer – my absolute favorite weather to photograph in! We had so much fun walking around, capturing photos and trying to not get hit by cars […]

Lizzy and Mike are getting married at the Cork Factory Hotel in March of 2021. I am so, so excited for their day! Lizzy had a vision of a mixture of an industrial look and a natural look for their engagement photos – so we spent half of their session downtown and the other half […]

Kaitlyn and Colin’s engagement session was the most fun ever because it involved traveling to Georgetown! Since they are both living in the city in this season, they wanted to document it by having their engagement photos done around the streets. Although I personally wouldn’t have minded traveling back to Sweden – (where they met!) […]

Alexa and I connected on Instagram and I am so glad that we did! Her and her fiancé, Remington, live in NYC but are getting married in Wrightsville at Historic Ashland in December. Their engagement session was so beautiful and I can’t wait to be a part of their winter wonderland wedding!

This engagement session was a long time coming! Corona put us on hold for a couple of months, so I was extra excited to be able to spend some time with Justin and Leeann yesterday. I believe that love stories are written by sharing hundreds of ordinary moments together, which, when added up, tell the story of extraordinary love. I believe that marriage matters and photographs preserve relationships, especially those images capturing emotionally authentic connections.

Documenting moments is important, but I want my images to do more than tell a story. I want to preserve the moment. When you look back on your photos, you will be taken back, not just to the day, but to how you felt when you were there.   I've been capturing love stories for over eight years and it just keeps getting better!

All you need to do is be your authentic selves…

I’m Ashley!

I’ll take care of the rest!
