Lauren and Josh said “I do!” in the company of their families during the sweetest, intimate ceremony! Despite a change in plans and some rainy weather, they had the most wonderful day celebrating what really matters – their love for one another. I was so grateful to be able to be a part of the day and can’t wait to celebrate with them again in September when all of their friends and the rest of their family can join as well!

My photographer’s heart did a little jump when Lauren and Josh were willing to ditch the umbrella for a few shots, despite the rain. While we would have all preferred some sunshine, there is no doubt that running through the rain made for some memories – and pretty epic pictures! Ultimately, the whole day was a beautiful picture of the life that Lauren and Josh started together. Proof that even in the midst of the storms that may come their way, they will always have each other. And that right there is why I love being a wedding photographer. Capturing the moments that matter the most.
