The sun made an appearance on a January day for these portraits in downtown Winston-Salem. It was so fun to get to photograph in a more urban environment and Lorelai made it so easy with her natural presence in front of the camera!

I knew that Christina would be a great fit as an ACP bride the minute that her inquiry came in! Her and her fiancé are both enneagram 2’s and both love Mexican food! Christina & Nate met at McDaniel College, right before Nate graduated! They spent their first year of dating a little ways apart […]

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, for an engagement session! It was such a blast meeting Sabrina and Luke and capturing their engagement photos at one of my favorite places in the world, Longwood Gardens! You can’t tell from the pictures – but it was absolutely freezing, so great practice for their December […]

Victoria and Jake met while both working at the Pennsylvania State Capitol building in Harrisburg, so it is a very special location for them! Naturally, they wanted to do their engagement photos there. And I was elated, as it is one of my favorite locations for sessions! It was so, so cold and windy – […]

Lindsay and Tyler’s original engagement session needed to be moved because it was the rainiest day ever! Because of busy schedules, we ended up moving to a sunrise session and I am so glad that we did! The fog over the lake plus the morning light made for the most beautiful setting for their fall […]

Ever since I shot Sarah and Matt’s engagement photos over a year ago – I just couldn’t wait for their wedding day to be here. And it finally was! It was my first Thursday wedding, and I must say I really loved the change in routine. It was so special to be part of their […]

Pearl and Matt drove the whole way from Maryland for their engagement session, and it just so happened to be the coldest, windest evening of the year so far! Thankfully, we had a lot of sunshine and they had the best attitudes – so you can’t tell in the photos at all! I am so […]

Bobbie contacted me about being a part of their wedding day, and I was unfortunately already booked. But, thankfully I had an associate available who was still able to be a part of Bobbie & Eliah’s big day! While I was not able to be there in person, the love that Bobbie & Eliah have […]

I’ve been capturing love stories for over eight years now, and it just keeps getting better! My favorite part about being a photographer is the people that I have the opportunity to serve. I believe that being a great photographer requires a combination of craft and kindness, and that is what I strive to always bring to the table!
If I don't have my camera in hand, I probably am holding a book. I've always loved stories, which has definitely led to my love for capturing moments for my clients to relive for the rest of their lives. My goal is to capture photos that you can feel - all of the joy, all of the love, all of the wonder.
… for how you felt in each moment
…for the joy of saying I do, the excitement of your first kiss
…for the romantic moments and heartfelt good wishes
Your wedding will bring some of the most transformational moments of your life, moments so important that they can never be recreated…
But they can be relived in exquisite detail.
