The Umstead in Cary, North Carolina is such a beautiful place celebrating a wedding, that Katherine and Seth decided to do it twice! Seth is currently in Naval flight school, so these two had a small wedding nine months ago at the Umstead before he started. They were finally able to have their big celebration with family and friends this past weekend. It was such a beautiful day full of joy, love, and family. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my Memorial Day weekend!
One of my favorite details of the day was Katherine’s bracelet. It belonged to her late grandmother and was a gift from her grandfather on the day of their first wedding. These kinds of little touches are so meaningful; I almost started tearing up as Katherine’s mom was putting the bracelet on her!
Katherine chose to focus on classic and timeless details for her wedding day, and it turned out so beautifully! Her bridesmaids wore champagne colored dresses by Birdy Grey, and her florals were cream and white. I loved the touch of personality that Katherine added with her pearl-embellished veil and heels. Overall, it was a beautiful day for a beautiful couple!
Joining me in congratulating Mr. & Mrs. Holloway!
