There’s something undeniably romantic about a summer wedding on the coast in Wilmington, North Carolina. Warm evenings, golden light, lush greenery, and the kind of joy that seems to linger a little longer in the air.
For this wedding, I photographed on a combination of digital and 35mm film, blending the timeless softness of film with the versatility and consistency of digital photography. The result was a gallery that feels both polished and lived-in. I love the pairing of editorial portraits alongside genuine, fleeting moments that brought the day to life.
Wrightsville Manor is definitely a new favorite venue of mine and I would love to go back! It is one of those venues that feels beautiful without needing to be overly decorated. Its historic character, whitewashed interiors, manicured grounds, and coastal surroundings create a natural backdrop for a wedding that feels refined but still warm and inviting.
