Would you believe me if I told you that 85% of my clients tell me this before their portrait session or wedding? It’s true! Good news – my whole job is to make sure that you feel completely comfortable while your photos are being taken. I believe in capturing genuine moments, which means no awkward poses and lots of us just hanging out, laughing and having fun. So don’t you worry about a thing. Your only job is to show up and have fun, I’ll handle the rest!
Totally okay! I aim to make every experience as easy for my clients as possible. I promise not to drag things out unnecessarily long or make anyone pose uncomfortably. Even though it may not be your fiancé’s favorite activity in the world, we can still have fun and capture this important season! Pro tip: If you promise to take him out for drinks afterwards, he’ll have something to look forward to and may just enjoy it a little bit more (:
No and no! Your booking cost for the experience includes all of the edited images from your day! (The only files that I leave out are duplicates, photos where your eyes are closed, etc.) You receive these in an online gallery and can print them, download them, post them, etc. Your images will never be watermarked, because no one likes that – I just ask that you credit me when posting them.
Simply put, no. When you hire a professional photographer, you aren’t just hiring them for the day of – you are also hiring them for their artistic eye and technical ability to process the photos after the event. RAW files contain all of the information to create the final product, but they are not the final product in and of themselves. In fact, you aren’t even able to properly open them on your computer without professional editing software. I take the utmost care in ensuring that your edited image gallery contains all of the photos that you would want from your day! If this is a concern to you – let’s have a conversation! There is typically an alternative solution for you to receive everything that you are hoping for without all of the RAW files!
First, we celebrate because I’m just so excited to be a part of your day! But seriously – I’ll send you an online proposal that includes your contract and all of your payment information. You sign the contract and pay 30% of the total package cost (all of this can be done online!) and we are officially, official! It’s super easy! I then work with you in the months leading up to your wedding to plan your best day ever!
I think that it is really important for us to be a good fit, since we will be spending so much timee together on your wedding day! So I always recommend that we have a Zoom meeting after you inquiry. This way I can answer allll of your questions and we can make sure that we are a good fit for your wedding day!
I have shot at dozens of venues before. I’d be happy to chat with you about your specific venue, however I do want to encourage you that almost every wedding that I shoot is at a different location – and that is part of the fun! Any time that I am booked for a new location, I make sure to do research before your event and show up a little bit early on the day of your wedding to make sure I’m fully acquainted with the venue!
Yes, I am always up for a new adventure and actually travel for weddings quite often! Specific travel fees vary depending on each and every situation, so let’s chat to figure out what it would look like for me to capture you and yours!
Because I believe albums are such an important family heirloom, I want to make the process as easy as possible! After your wedding, you have the option to let me know which images from your gallery are your favorite. Using those images, and my artistic discretion I will design your album and then send it over to you to approve of. Once you feel good, I’ll put the order in and your album will arrive at your doorstep!
… for how you felt in each moment
…for the joy of saying I do, the excitement of your first kiss
…for the romantic moments and heartfelt good wishes
Your wedding will bring some of the most transformational moments of your life, moments so important that they can never be recreated…
But they can be relived in exquisite detail.
