Some weddings are extra special to capture, and this Grandview Vineyards wedding was one of those for me! I have known Jared and Ally for so long that I honestly don’t even remember when we met. I do, however, remember when they started dating five years ago. Jared and Ally both ran in the same circles for years, but it took some time for Jared to finally make the move to make things official – on the day before Ally left for college! These two spent time doing long distance, which is when they started the sweet tradition of writing letters to each other every month of their relationship.
So many little details that celebrated their relationship, families, and traditions filled the wedding day. They served chicken pot pie for dinner, had Ally’s grandmothers as their flower girls, and even their rings had an extra special meaning! Ally’s engagement ring was purchased at Jared and features a pair shaped diamond (a nod to their last name – Bartlett!). My favorite wedding days are always the ones that are about the marriage more than the wedding; the Bartletts had a day that was just that.
Grandview Vineyards was a perfect backdrop for Jared and Ally’s beautiful day. The venue really added to the intimate feeling of the celebration.
It was a true joy and honor to have the opportunity to capture these photos for my dear friends. Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Bartlett!!
